2013 world of toyotaThis August, the country’s number one automotive brand, dangles a carrot in front of their fans, current and potential, by bringing in two concept cars to the country. The aim of this is to give the consumers a glimpse of the things to come. This little peep show will happen on August 10 to 18 at The World of Toyota Motorshow to be held at the World Trade Center , Pasay City. Fresh off the Boat will be Toyota’s FCV-R and Lexus’ LF-LC, prime example of the company’s new direction in design philosophy, technology of cars in the future as well as the company’s preference of abbreviations.

First dish submitted for your scrutiny is Toyota’s Fuel-Cell Vehicle Reality and Revolution (FCV-R)… make sense? The abbreviated names never do. Possibly making its way from the drawing board to full on production this 2015, this mid-sized family sedan runs of hydrogen and does not emit fossilized dinosaur fumes or CO2 but only, get this… water vapor. Sort of like an athlete fueled only by love and not carbohydrates then passes out rainbows instead of gas.

The 2013 edition of the Trans Sport Show is taking a whole new direction. Instead of simply focusing on contemporary tuner and custom cars, the country's longest-running car show is putting historic sports cars and legendary race cars in the limelight. This is perfect for the show's theme “Driving Generations” so the oldies can show the newbies who ruled the streets and race tracks first.
This is the “must-see” car list of the 22nd Trans Sport Show that's happening on May 30 to June 2, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The country's longest-running car show is back. The 22nd edition of the Trans Sport Show is opening its doors on May 30 and will run until June 2, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
This year's show takes on a new “Driving Generations” theme as it draws together classic, exotic, tuner, and custom car enthusiasts. It's the perfect avenue for people to share their love for cars, no matter what age or genre they're from. But more importantly, it allowed fathers to share their passion with their children.
Tradeshow International President Sophie de los Santos couldn't have explained it better. “We have met a lot of fathers and sons, whole families in fact, through the years, who had a steady diet of the Trans Sport Show. It was the inspiration for the show’s new slogan. When we started seeing dads with their L-type Lancers, passionately staring at restored examples with their sons who now drive the latest generation cars, we knew that was what really represented the show.”
peugeot mothersday
Eurobrands Distributor Inc. (EDI), the official importer and distributor of Peugeot vehicles in the Philippines, has a very unique way of celebrating Mother's Day. They've set up a two-week mall display to bring the Peugeot experience closer to their customers, which includes mothers, sisters, wives, aunts, and what not, even if the special occasion is still weeks away. Why? Well, because we're pretty darn sure that they'd love to drive, or be driven around, in one of these very pretty French cars.
bimmerfest x
The BMW Car Club of the Philippines is celebrating something monumental this year. That's because the only official BMW club in the country recognized by BMW AG is hosting Bimmerfest X - their 10th annual all-BMW car show.
For some, BMW is just a car brand that represents a certain lifestyle of affluence. But for these guys, it represents passion, performance, camaraderie, and most importantly, joy. So from 10 am to 9 pm on May 4, 2013 at the Filinvest Tent, Filinvest City in Alabang, visit Bimmerfest X so you too can be part of the BMW experience.
Now on its 10th year, this will be the first time for Bimmerfest to be held indoor, showcasing one of the biggest collection of cars by far. To be exact, they're expecting about 100 BMWs to be on display. And for this year, the BMW Owners' Society of Safe Riders will join in the fray to display their own BMW motorbikes.
