Isuzu's 2012 Crosswind Special Edition makes Palawan more fun

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) recently launched the new 2012 Crosswind Special Edition. And to experience its capabilities and new features, they shipped five examples of their latest AUV, along with a group of motoring journalists, over to Puerto Princesa, Palawan last April for a different kind of road trip. Of course, as one of the country's premier tourist destinations, it was also the perfect opportunity for them to have a little R&R and visit Palawan's best.
Checking out trip's main mode of transport, the Special Edition Crosswind is fitted with black anodized trimmings to highlight its “Sporty Black” theme, and rolls on new more stylish six-spoke alloy wheels to revitalize its looks. Added to this variant are a fixed shark fin antenna, rear wiper, and a rear spoiler with a integrated high-mount third brake lamp. Overall, its the same Crosswind that we've all grown to love, but with a bit more spunk.
To experience what Puerto Princesa had to offer, the group headed to its most renowned tourist spots such as the Crocodile Farm, the Iwahig Penal Colony, Butterfly Garden, and Baker's Hill. Thankfully, the Crosswind Special Edition's black anodized roof rails came into good use during the drive by securing the group's luggage and outdoor gear. The vehicle's choice of entertainment systems, from an AM/FM tuner, CD and MP3 player, to a video player also made the trip more fun for all its passengers.
Besides all those stops, the tour also had to navigate through Puerto Princesa's winding roads to the Mitra Farm, and Sheridan Resort and Spa in such a short time span. But with the Crosswind's tried-and-tested 4JA1-L turbo direct injection diesel engine, everyone had full confidence that they'll arrive at their destinations on time. Plus its Flex Ride MOVE suspension kept the ride smooth the entire way.
Of course, any trip to Palawan wouldn't be complete without a visit to one of the world's Seven Wonders of Nature, the Subterranean River National Park.
After spending three days on what could be the most beautiful spot in the Philippines, one can really say that “It's more fun with the Isuzu Crosswind in Palawan.”
The new 2012 Isuzu Crosswind Special Edition is now on sale at P750,000 for the XS, P794,000 for the XL, P883,000 for the XT, P1,042,000 for the XUV, P1,102,000 for the XUV AT, P1,160,000 for the Sportivo MT, and P1,225,000 for the Sportivo AT.
