Porsche's super 7 voted as “Sportiest Car of 2011”

Porsche proved that it still is Germany's favorite sports car brand when it topped 7 out of 15 categories in the “The Sportiest Cars of 2011” survey conducted by the German Sport Auto magazine. No other marque came close to winning as many first places in this year's survey, beating fellow Deutsch marques Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. Heading the polls is Porsche's army of 911's - the Carrera GTS, the topless Turbo S Cabriolet, and its two road-going race cars, the 911 GT3 and GT3 RS.
These four 911's received three times as many votes as the runners-up, sealing Porsche's dominance in the sports car industry. And as if that wasn't enough, they bagged another three wins for Stuttgart - the baby Porsche's Cayman R, Boxter S, and it's luxury sedan, the Panamera Turbo. If you're still curious to find out the full voting results of “The Sportiest Cars of 2011,” then you'll have to grab a copy of Sport Auto's June 17 issue. But after Porsche's top seven sweep, you'll just be counting down the losers.
With this result, Porsche clearly strengthened its position at the top of the sports car leader board. For information on the Porsche in the Philippines, visit the Porsche Philippines Showroom at 201 EDSA Mandaluyong City or call 7270381 to 5.
