The Porsche World Roadshow: A day with 10,000 horsepower

Ok, perhaps it's not exactly 10,000, but with the least capable vehicle available for testing producing almost three times more than your typical subcompact, while the most powerful easily over 500, to it's easy be lulled into thinking that the day's selection had a total power output was within that region... or a bit more. In fact, the experience could undoubtedly be the automotive equivalent of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's “The Greatest Show on Earth.” This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Porsche World Roadshow = a day wherein every model in the Porsche catalog are driven in the manner they were designed to be driven, made possible only by Porsche AG and PGA Cars Inc.

PGA Cars serves up the Porsche Cayenne with Diesel

Just a month after it was launched at the Geneva Motor Show, PGA Cars Inc., the Philippine distributor of the Porsche brand, already have their hands on the latest Cayenne Diesel.
Offered locally with all-wheel-drive, the Cayenne will be powered by a 3.0 liter common-rail injection turbo diesel V6. With 240 hp and 550 Nm of torque in tap, it jumps from 0 to 100 km/h in a brisk 7.8 seconds and continues to accelerate until it reaches a top speed of 220 km/h. And contrary to its outstanding performance figures, the new Cayenne is actually 23 percent more fuel efficient than its predecessor and claims to achieve a mileage of 13.9 km/L, partially swayed by the new 8-speed Tiptronic-S automatic transmission.
