Drag race demons take to the strip as Emperor Motorsports and Speedlab bring you the 0 - 400 Challenge on March 17, 2012 at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) to see who's the real king of the quarter mile. The special motorsports day will also feature a Speedway Auto Show, Loudmatch, and Car Porn Racing's Drift Fest in one big event. 
 
Entry fee is P2,500/car with a P5,000, P3,000, and P2,000 cash prize for each of the class winners:
 
driftfest_posterIn tandem with Emperor Motors and Speedlab, get ready for this year's very first drift event as Car Porn Racing throws it sideways at Drift Fest on March 17, 2012 at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Pampanga. The special motorsports day will also feature a 0-400 Challenge drag race and car show all in one big event. 
 
Competitors will be subdivided into Novice and Professional categories, with trophies for the top 3 performers in each class. Awards will also be given to top tier drivers who demonstrates their special skill as the Best Ass Scraper (bumper to the wall), Best Tandem Partners (closest and tightest tandem), Fastest Drift Entry Speed (fastest driver), and Consistent Clipper (all clipping points). With experienced drifters Ian King, Kim Garcia, Kevin Tayao, and Paolo Arespochaga standing as Drift Fest's judges, the drivers will really have to burn a lot of rubber to impress.

Paying tribute to the late Arthur Tuason,
Tuason Racing School (TRS) is bringing back the Arthur Tuason Memorial Cup (ATMC). The 9th edition of the ATMC comprises of a sprint and 4 hour endurance race, made up of a field of Formula SL go karts, and run back-to-back with the first race of the 2012 Champions of the Future (COF). So suit up for a whole day of karting on February 26, 2012 at the Carmona Race Track
 
The sprint race comprises of a 15 lap pre-final and 25 lap final race, while the enduro is a 4 hour non-stop race where teams can be made up for two to six drivers each. Entry fee is P2,500/driver for the sprint race and P10,000/team for the endurance race. And to make things more exhilerating, a P25,000 cash prize await the sprint champion (with minimum of 20 entries) and a P50,000 grand prize for the endurance champion team (with minimum of 10 entries), plus many more prizes are up grabs from the 9th ATMC's sponsors.

Organized by MP Turbo, a bigger and more exciting 2012 Balayong Festival Offroad Challenge gets underway this weekend, March 10 - 11, 2012, at the Brgy. Sta. Monica Offroad Racing Complex in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. The event ushers in one of Puerto Princesa's most celebrated festivals and will feature its biggest field of competitors this year, promising top level offroad racing action.
 
The Offroad Challenge not only features 4x4 extreme competition, but also motocross, enduro time trials, and cross-country mountain bike races. New to this year's callenge is the Team Relay Race that combines the times of a team composed of a 4x4 driver, enduro rider, and mountain biker.
 
According to MP Turbo Chief Mike Potenciano, a new longer track has been carved out for the extreme 4x4 competition. So far, they have 90 confirmed entries for the 4x4 race, 80 for motorbikes, and 70 for mountain bikes, with entries from Metro Manila, Rizal, Pampanga, and as far as Bukidnon.

Before you talk trash to your friends about your mad driving skills, you might just want to sign up first at City Kart Racing Makati's Kart Clinic 2012 to make sure you can put your foot where your mouth is. So suit up and learn to race the right way from former European Karting Champion, Jean-Marc “Jeff” Freihuber on February 25, 2012 (Saturday).
 
The half-day Kart Clinic includes a classroom lecture on the basics and fundamentals of go kart racing such as proper seating position, racing line, and braking points. Then go hands on with track sessions to get a grip on how to shed seconds from your lap time. Finally, at the day's end, put the things you've learned into practice as you line-up on the grid for a mini-race to the chequered flag and climb up the top spot of the podium.

Get your kids up to speed and on the path to becoming a future Formula 1 star as Castrol and Tuason Racing School (TRS) opens yet another school year for Champions of the Future (COF). Kids ages 7 to 13 years old can live their racing dreams in go karts, which is considered to be the grassroots of racing. Enroll now as classes begins on January 15, 2012 with 20 scholarship seats up for grabs! 
 
The Karting Clinic is a one-day event with 20 driver slots per class. Each driver will be provided with complete racing gear, a racing kart, consumables, instructions, and meals in the event. Each Clinic will only cost P3,500 per day.
