*UPDATE*
The deadline of entries for Total's Drive City Challenge has been extended up to September 2, 2012. Likewise, the driving competition event has been moved to September 15, 2012.

Remember the countless moments when a jeepney stops right in front of you to load or unload in the middle of the road? Or maybe the times when you're cut-off by a bus along EDSA? How bout when you curse like hell at those pesky pedestrians who cross under the footbridge? Well, driving in the metropolis day in and day out takes a lot of patience. It involves dealing with other motorists fighting for their share of precious road space. That's exactly why Total Philippines took the initiative and created the Total Drive City Challenge to see just how well we deal with these scenarios. Plus they'll give you the chance to win P30,000 if you ace the test.

The one-day driving experience is a first of its kind live-traffic challenge in the Philippines. It involves a series of tests which effectively assess how well you drive and and obey traffic laws around the Metro. This, however, is not your run-of-the-mill driving competition as it also gauges how well you strategize and work as a team. And at the end of it all, its main objective is to increase awareness on road safety.

So if you think you're up for the challenge, all you have to do is get a friend who can share driving and navigation duties with you. Of course, you'll need a car to drive around in and a valid driver's license. But before all that, you must first pass 20-question Online Timed Quiz to qualify. Keep in mind that Total Philippines will only be getting the Top 15 High Scorers for the public competition.

Hurry! You only have until August 26, 2012 September 2, 2012 to send in your entry before the Total Drive City Challenge gets the green light on September 2, 2012 September 15, 2012.
