Valvoline's NextGen Diesel will mark your truck go green
Back in April, Valvoline Philippines showed us a way how we can save the Earth one oil change at a time with NextGen - their latest premium oil that's made with 50% recycled oil. It offers 48% reduction in use of fossil fuels, 40% reduction in harmful and acidic emissions, and 20% reduction and global warming impact. Only problem is, NextGen was only available for gasoline engines in 10W40 viscosity at the time. But a quick chat with Valvoline Philippines Country Manager Virgilio “Gil” Mariano revealed that they now have NextGen for diesels.

At the rate we're going, it wouldn't be such a surprise when the pollution we generate eventually causes our demise in just a few decades. And one of main sources of pollution is the use of crude oil. Extracting, using, and disposing crude oil and all of its constituents have an adverse effect on the environment, including us.
If only we all took the responsibility to manage our resources properly, both environmental and health risks will be greatly reduced. What comes out of your vehicle is a dark gooey fluid that no where near resembles the clear golden motor oil poured in a few thousand kilometers ago. But have you ever given thought to what happens to dirty used oil? Thinking green, even its neon green bottle is made out of recycled materials.
