Only 11 months has passed this 2012, and yet, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has already broken their annual sales record in history. Based on the latest CAMPI report, TMP and Lexus Manila Inc. has sold a total of 58,890 units this year so far, capturing 34.6% of the market share.

This achievement puts TMP on track to take their 11th consecutive Triple Crown with the top spot in the Passenger Car Segment (30.8%), Commercial Vehicle Segment (36.8%), and Overall Sales.

Toyota registered sales of 5,740 units in the month of November 2012. That might be 1,206 short of their record-breaking month last October, but that's still good enough to post a 9% growth from the same period last year and maintain their top spot in both the PC and CV segments.

Okay, we all know that the Vios is the best-selling vehicle in the country. But it comes as a surprise that the Fortuner was last month's best-selling SUV in the country - a position previously held by the mighty Mitsubishi Montero Sport.

TMP President Michinobu Sugata said, “Throughout this year, TMP has achieved several milestones. Just this November, we have experienced our highest yearly sales record in just 11 months. I am very happy as this is a clear sign that our customers continue to trust our ability to deliver the best products and services possible. On behalf of TMP, I would like to thank the Filipino people for trusting us for nearly 25 years. The support they have shown us is what drives us to move forward and serve them even better.”
