If you noticed, most if not all Caltex Stations in the Philippines (or at least the ones we've seen) don't have their own service station. Well, all that is about to change after its parent company Chevron signed an agreement with Bosch to put up Bosch Car Service Workshops at 500 Caltex Stations in five countries over the next five years.

The project covers the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Cambodia, where a Bosch Car Service Workshop will be built alongside each Caltex Station. It will provide premium car care services to multi-brand vehicles including vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs. On top of that, they'll also be selling Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Products and Parts, as well as Caltex lubricants.

“A multitude of factors contribute to an enjoyable driving experience and maintaining one’s vehicle tops the list. Our partnership with Bosch demonstrates the commitment from both companies to provide customers with the best experience on the road. Our motorists will benefit from the combination of Bosch’s automotive engineering expertise and our long-standing energy efficiency solutions,” said Peng Xiaofei, Chevron Asia Pacific Products Vice President.

Although they didn't say exactly when the first Bosch Car Service Workshop will open here in the Philippines, we're surely looking forward to this new offering. It'll give our motorists the peace of mind on their journey knowing that there's a quality car service center at the nearest Caltex station.

“With the expansion of the Bosch Car Service footprint across Southeast Asia, motorists will appreciate the accessibility of a diverse range of reliable, quality automotive maintenance and repair solutions with the proximity of Caltex service stations,” said Martin Hayes, President of Bosch in Southeast Asia.
